GENERAL INFORMATION
-Actually, the factory Britten-Norman is OPEN, making new Aircrafts Islanders (there are more of 1200 Islanders and Trislanders and BN-26T in service: The Service of Spare Parts, SB, etc are Warranted.
-Our Twin engined BN2A-26 is a very versatile aircraft for utilization, with structure strong and safely. The wings is of the type box from end to end extremely strong and the entire structure without limit of life published for the factory (only a recurrent inspection per SB-190 every 3 years for good condition).
-With a big capacity of freight and good STOL. Singularly the model BN2A-26 is STOL for the position "up" of the flap at 6º and the wing with "camber" betwen the fuselage and the engines.
-Can be operated how an aircraft for passengers with 10 persons abopard, freight (around 800 Kgs), depending of local -or your country- restrictions for the age of the A/C for commercial use.
-But not limit for Own operations "combi" with pax and freight, parachuting, photography, observations and prospections... And possibility of lateral photography and vertical detection (today only is neccesary a little hole for digital cameras) without touching vital parts in the floor.
-Also banner, capacity for 3 persons and ambulande, vips, drop dusters (micronair, etc).
All the possibilities are affered by kits by Britten-Norman.
-Our EC-FIP is "Combi" today, with 6 seats.

-The most atractive caractristic of our aircraft is the possibility of running in the future.
-The powerful engines Lycoming O-540 versión E4C5 of 260 HP are prepared for operates with all type of aviation gasolines: 100LL, 91/96, 100/130, 115/145, etc. SEE the Lycoming Service Instruction SI-1070-S or latest. And mainly, it can use the new gasoline AVGAS 91/96 UL (Un Leaded) or WithOut Lead in accordande with the Environmental Normatives in Europe and USA (and other countries)
-Possibly this aircraft may be the Only twin engine with gasoline in their class -excep some new and expensives projects- that can fly with the the Ambiental normatives, retarded from the year 2002 and applied in Europe and USA from 2010. Our A/C have carburetors and low compresion engines.
LATEST INFO about the EC-FIP
-The actual disposition is of "Combi" configuration, with only six seats and space for freight. (We only have the 6 seats). In the past operates as "Combi" and also the week-ends how parachuting (skydiving). The aircraft have the original bar for automatic jumping and protection of the RH-rear window. The rear LH door are eassily removable.
-Also have the bar for protect the pilots when is operated entirely how freighter But not have the net fot his.

Remember that need Maintenance DUES by Calendar mainly. We have a Proforma of a Maintenance Center en the same Sabadell Airport of date 2013 estimated en 115000 E, of manpower and around 40000 E, in parts.
-The cost of the total is so less than a single aircraft (see Controller, Global Plane Search, ADN (Aircraft Dealer Network), Trade-A-Plane, FindAircraft, etc..). There are margin for modernize more the aircraft with the difference.
-In this price are not included the 2nd hand spare parts but is negociable. 3 boxes with structural elements and one nose strut NLG, and a main strut of MLG, plus minor parts fron a sister aircraft.
AVIONICS installed:
-2 NAV/COM, Narco Mark 12-D-plus (with FM immunity)
-1MB, 2GS, 2 DME, 1 ADF Bendix Original, 1 TXDR, 1 ELT (Code C), 1 Encoding Altimeter.
-We will recommend install a GPS type GNS 430 minimum, and 2 or 3 instrument of flight in the RH panel for dual operation. (Depend of the country of destination).

-This aircraft remain in the hangars of MC AvGen and Gavina, Maintenance Centers from 1997, date of last flight -except little periods of airport infraestructures works-, performing all the necessary periodic maintenance and preservation engine runnings still 2012, per instructions in accordance with:
-Lycoming Service Letter L180B
-Lycoming Service Instruction SI-1481A
-Informqacion de la Instrucción Circular IC 35-03B (Spanish)
-The preservation of the engines is with a mixing of normal oil with a concentrate MIL-C-6529C Type I. All the runnings performed with enough long time for reaching all pressures and temperatures. The A/C is maintained in Flyable condition still 2012, and for Due works to perform, and for the economical crissis, only turning the engines by hand. And elemental works for maintaining the entirely of thed A/C condition.
WORKS to Perform and DUE (See also the Proforma)
In the Engines:
-Maintenance on both engines, with cleanings, protection and painting. Changing of hoses and rubber as necessary, last times in 2003 and 2005. (All rubbers are On Condition per SB of Britten-Norman)
-Installation of a new vacuum pump (Dry pump)
-Both oil coolers are news.
-OH of both carburetors in year 2004, and both alternators of 50A in 2005.
-New air and vacuum filters in 2005.
-Dual EGT news (Alcor)
Propellers:
-OH in both propellers in 2006, see Status.
Structure:
-Trim of all seats changed as new.
-Bars of Jump and freight installed (not net for freight)
-The frontal windshield are news, in year 2006.
-Changed panels and roof from fiberglass to white aluminum
-All 5 wheels and breaking linnings (HD), not used, news in 2006.
-Orings of the struts (Air Precission) with OH in 2003. Due.
Electricity and Avionics:
-Both two NAV/COM changed for equipments with FM immunity.
-Compass changed for a new original english.
-Battery need to change. The actual installed in 2008.
-Four new avionics antennas.
-Upper flashing beacon new. With flashing of three impulses repetitives.
-New ELT (Ameri-Tech) Removable and with jack for micro. Batteries AA for changing. Not for use with sattelite.
-New speakers and headset.
Exterior Paint:
-In the 2007/8 are removed all the old paint. Check of the estructure per SB-190. "Wash primer" and "Primer". Overall poliuretane white paint (Akzo homologated, without lead aditives).
Anothers:
-Hand extinguisher n ew in 2006 (Insp. due). New Hatch and new first aid kit in metal box (2006)-
Bag with chocks and new external power cables with standard conector.
-Tow bar with ball or ring conexión for engaging system to tractor. In three partgs for put aboard.
-New Flight Manual (FM) actualized to 2009.
-We send to the buyer the Original technical documentation (MM, IPC, etc) plus SB and AD. Status at Up to Date 2009. After is published in Internet.
NOTE: The aircraft is now in a Centro de Maintenimiento, in thed Sabadell Airport (BCN), Pending to perform before sending it, (See the DUES in the Proforma mentioned).
-The ANUAL and BI-ANUAL Inspections.
-Swing compass and W&B
-Possibles Adjustments, Pressures and Levels, etc.
-Repairs as needed for send the A/C in Fresh Condition at the Last Moment.
-Time estimated of the works in the Maintenance Center (1-4 month, depend of the charge of works of the Center).
-Remember: You can negociate the works for better costs or times.
